Punjab State Education Board (PSEB) on Tuesday cancelled the class 12 Mathematics after the reports of question paper leak started doing the rounds. The class 12 Maths paper has now been rescheduled for March 31.
Confirming the reports, Punjab School Education Board secretary Hargunjit Kaur said that the board has cancelled the class 12 Mathematics board exam. “The board came to know about the news of leaked paper through Whatsapp, which was confirmed after inquiry,” she said.
Earlier in the day, the Punjab Education board had directed the district education officers (DEOs) to get new question papers printed for the students appearing for the class 12 mathematics exam. The teachers on duty at the exam centres were also asked to collect the new question papers and distribute among the studen
It was then the reports started circulating that the Maths question paper may have leaked. The board, however, cancelled the exam, scheduled for Tuesday.
