Mumbai Plane Crash: A Chartered plane crashed on Thursday afternoon in Sarvodaya Nagar, the residential area of Maharashtra’s capital Mumbai. Four people were onboard the plane. Five people died in this accident. Apart from all the four passengers in the plane, one civilian also died. At the same time, CM Devendra Fadnavis arrived at the spot.

The plane was about to land at the Mumbai airport when it crashed some distance away in Ghatkopar, killing all four on board – two pilots and two maintenance engineers.
According to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation or DGCA, the 12-seater plane had taken off from the Juhu airstrip on a test flight.
In visuals on TV and social media, flames and black smoke were seen rising from the wreckage. A large crowd gathered around the debris, many carrying umbrellas in the rain, as firemen sifted through the debris.
It took over an hour to put out the fire. The black box of the aircraft has been recovered and the DGCA has already started a preliminary probe into what caused the crash. Teams from the DGCA and Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting or ARFF have already begun collecting evidence from the crash site.
The fire brigade reached the spot. Let me tell you that the place from which the plane crashed is a residential area. This aircraft crashed at 1.13 p.m. The model of this aircraft is VT-UPZ, King Air C90.
Earlier it was reported that the plane was from the Uttar Pradesh government, but later the statement came from the government that the aircraft is not from UP. The UP government says that this aircraft was owned by a Mumbai-based company UY Aviation Pvt Ltd.
The Uttar Pradesh government has said in its official statement that these aircraft were with the Uttar Pradesh government till 2014. But it was sold in 2014.
It is being told that it was moving towards Juhu Airport, as soon as the plane crashed, suddenly there was a fire and the plane fell directly on the under-construction building.
